More than 10 Saccos led by Forwad Travellers Sacco and Embasava Sacco in Kayole have today staged a protest over insecurity at their stages a and the killing of one of the Forward travellers operator.
In an interview with Ghetto Radio Wahirari Mwangi a driver with Forwad Travellers says their colleague was beaten to death by Gaza gang after he refused to give out cash to Gaza gang that collects twenty bob from each matatu at stage.
According to them they are still being terrorized by Gaza gang at every stage in Kayole Embakasi despite complaining several times to the area authorities.
The protests covered Manyanja road some parts of Umoja ,Komarock , Donholm and even Jogoo road causing traffic snurl ups better part of the morning with passengers coming to town stranded.

They are now calling on the immediate removal of Kayole Divison OCPD Joseph Gichangi accusing him for tolerating the Gaza harassment on Matatus, despite receiving several protest letters from the sacco managements .
Meanwhile our effort to speak to Gichangi over the same is still futile .
