Wanjigi Vows To Face Raila As Kalonzo Cautions Over Battle Ahead

0 155

ODM presidential hopeful Jimi Wanjigi has said that he will take his quest for the Orange presidential ticket to the wire as former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka warned him to prepare for a stormy ride ahead.

Kalonzo recounted his dramatic parting of ways with Odinga in 2007 and warned Wanjigi not to expect smooth nominations.
But Wanjigi stood his ground and said that he would run for the ticket since “the party does not belong to anybody. It does not belong to any individual, and we must have a fair and democratic contest.”

Wanjigi reiterated his demand to party leader Raila Odinga to open up the party for free and fair nominations.

The two leaders were speaking in Machakos, where they attended a fundraising meeting at AIC Daystar in Lukenya.
