Water Rationing In Nairobi To Continue Despite The Rains

0 380

Water rationing in Nairobi  will continue despite heavy down fall experienced in the city over past two days.

Nairobi county government  Environment executive Peter Kimori says level in Ndakaini dam in Muranga is still 22% and therefore cannot supply adequate water in the city.

According to Kimori the amount of water being pumped out of Ndakaini still doubles what the dam collects daily.

He has further urged Nairobians to make use of water tanks as well as other water conservation mechanism to address the shortage as the water levels in Ndakaini improve.
