Wazito’s Musa Masika Hungry for Titles


Wazito FC’s Musa Masika has expressed confidence in his team clinching the 2019 Koth Biro off-season tournament.

Masika who plays for Fifa Best FC in the Koth Biro Tournament, played an instrumental role in seeing his team thrash opponents Kimbo FC from Ruiru in yesterday’s match.

Fifa Best thrashed kimbo FC 6-0 in a match played on one side of the field with Fifa Best strikers.

Benson Erigi netted three times with Oliver Safu scoring two times to ensure they had a comfortable win.

According to Musa Masika who plays for newly crowned NSL champions Wazito FC, they suffered a shock defeat in their first game as they lacked services of key players who had other commitments at the time a problem they solved before this match.

“We came determined to win this game to ensure we secured the much needed crucial points in a bid to qualify for the round of 16 and that’s what pushed us to pull off such a wonderful performance while enjoying the game,” Said Masika.

FIFA Best FC is based in Dagoretti Constituency, the area where Masika was born and raised.

Masika has a been a sensation since signing for premier league side Wazito FC from Kangemi FC scoring three goals in their National Super League campaign and he has also previously attended trials with teams in Portugal and Belgium.

During the Airtel Rising Stars in 2015 Masika was crowned as the most valuable player of the competition.

In the year 2017 the younger brother to Chinese based International Ayub Masika was voted as the most valuable player in Kothbiro this being among his accolades.

The Kenyan under-20 international winger has also expressed joy with his team recently booking a spot in the Kenyan Premier League 2019/2020 season terming it as an exciting challenge his team is ready for.

“We have prepared well enough for the season ahead of us and I believe we are ready to thrill fans with entertaining games and show them why we were crowned as the National Super League champions,” said Masika.

Masika believes his team is ready to challenge for the Kenyan Premier League tittle having shown their hunger for winning waysduring their NSL campaign with the team experiencing a revolutionary change in the past year.
