We Are Not In ODM With my Brother Wetangula- Wanyonyi Tells Detractors  


Nairobi gubernatorial hopeful Tim Wanyonyi has  warned those linking his bid  with his brother Ford Kenya Party Moses Wetangula to stop and embrace his candidature as an   Orange Democratic Movement member.

According to Wanyonyi he has been in ODM since 2017 and no amount of pressure will force  him drop his gubernatorial bid.

“There are people who want to compete but they want to look for shortcuts somebody has woken up from his big slumber and he realizes that ohh honorable Tim Wanyonyi has brother called Moses Wetangula as they didn’t  know that Moses was my brother and  we have always been in different camps, he is in Ford Kenya am in ODM so why are the same people saying that Moses is there and Tim can not be given ODM ticket what kind of stupidity is that…have been in ODM  since 2007 the same year  I   stood up in KICC and endorsed Raila Amollo Odinga for presidency and I knew Moses  was in the government.” Tim said.

He further asked ODM party not to dish out  ODM ticket to outsiders and that  he is ready for primaries to battle it  with his competitors.

“This is a great city it’s a leader in East and Central Africa but we have been letting it down over and over so it’s time for us today to rise and make sure we reclaim the glory of this city …,’’ Wanyonyi stated.

“Don’t move and promise people things that you can not provide create an enabling environment for business so that  people can  work that’s the Nairobi we want and that’s what  I stand for.” Tim added.

He was speaking at his Secretariat headquarters after a meeting with Abagusi leaders in Nairobi.
