Nairobi Metropolitan Services boss Mohammed Badi will on Monday meet all Boda boda Operators in Nairobi Central District and Ngara area in bid to have them leave CBD in an organised manner.
According to Kennedy Onyango a rider who is part of the meeting, they will discus on their new area of operation and where they will end their journey when they carry passengers who are coming to town.
‘‘Yes we have been invited for a meeting at Uhuru Park to discuss this matter so that they can tell us how they want us to operate immediately we leave CBD,’’ he said.
Meanwhile Ngara riders have protested plans to have some operators be brought in the area saying they are all ready congested.
‘‘In Ngara we have bus terminus if you bring additional bodaboda operators here it would be chaos.. we want Badi to consider that before any move.’’ They told Ghetto Radio News.
