We don’t have sex to give male teachers, we only have As to give – Lugulu girls cry
Students from Lugulu Girls High School in Bungoma County today took to the streets to protest an alleged defilement of one of their colleagues.
The students claim that one of them was reportedly defiled on Saturday morning when she was taking a bath before morning classes.
She was rescued by a fellow student who appeared at the scene and began screaming for help.
According to the students, their efforts to get help from the school’s administration proved futile since the school is trying to cover up the incident.
“It is very tragic that our own principal who is a woman would let such an occasion pass without action, this girl was attacked in a washroom, there is nothing like indecent dressing in washrooms,” said one student.
The girls also accused male teachers of sexually molesting them by demanding sex from them.
“We are being molested by male teachers who keep asking us to sleep with them, we do not have sex to give, we only have As to give,” said the students.
The police have launched investigations into their grievances.
