We’ve Come From Far to Break Up, Gospel Duo ‘Servant Boys’ Promise Fans

Many musical groups be it secular or gospel come and die easily after enjoying considerable success however, this is not the path that fast rising gospel duo ‘Servant Boys’ wishes to take.

The duet comprised of Ringstar and Falenzy bred in Kisii have promised to stick together through thick or thin as they complement each other through working together, not much was heard of them as solo artist’s and they attribute their new found fame after being signed at Urban Sounds ending their 15 year struggle in seeking breakthrough.

“We have been recording for fifteen years without breakthrough. However we were doing solo projects and trying to put our content out there but we had not had a good team to guide us through the whole process and make an impact in our music career. After being signed to Urban Sounds, we came to realize that without team work we can only do so little. We have been challenged to record a lot of music and it has proved to work since we can now concentrate as artists rather than being involved everywhere from marketing to production,” explained Servant Boys.

Childhood Friendship

The duo revealed their tight bond grew while living in the same neighborhood in Kisii County.

In fact, they’re like blood brothers with Ringstar stating that after being orphaned when his parents passed on, it was Falenzy who came to his aid by introducing him to his elder brother who housed him.

“My parents passed on when I was very young and I was left to fend for myself.. I met Falenzy when I was in class seven and since then my life took a different turn, I found a friend that became family and since then we grew up encouraging each other that one day our star will shine,” stated Ringstar.

The duo have had back to back releases from Show me, Nisamehe, Mungu anatupenda and Barua kwa Wakenya which are currently ruling gospel musical charts in East and Central Africa.

They’re currently riding high with their newest release ‘Siko Single’ which they have featured another gospel Star David Wonder.

They have appealed for support from fans to subscribe on their YouTube channel.
