Kenya’s Tourism Cabinet Secretary Najib Balala has received heavy criticism from Kenyans on Twitter(KOT) over his move of naming 50 year old UK Supermodel Naomi Campbell as the country’s International Ambassador for the Magical Kenya Brand.
Naomi an epitome of brains and beauty is an accomplished Supermodel, actress and Businesswoman.
She has walked the runaways for top notch designers such as Gianni Versace and posing for top photographers around the world.
She is also known for her love for the finer things life can offer.
Naomi flies in a private jet during her visits in world’s exotic and idyllic places such as the Kenya’s North Coast-Malindi.
She is currently holed up at the exclusive Billionaire Resort owned by Ex Lover Italian Business Magnate and Former Formula one executive Flavio Briatore.
Kenyans were however quick to ask the Supermodel to relinquish the position for a Kenyan Creative such as Oscar’s winner and Hollywood Star – Lupita Nyong’o, Award winning Hip hopper Khaligraph Jones or Football Star Victor Wanyama who in recent times have set Kenya in the International map.
Balala maintained that the Supermodel’s elevation will boost and promote Kenya as an ideal travel destination.
