Nairobi women Representative Esther Passaris has now threatened to sue Nairobi governor Mike Sonko over over the sexual claims he made against her while at the JKLive Show on Citizen TV.
Passaris who landed at JKIA this morning from Canada termed Sonko’s allegations on her as immoral and that his main intentions were to spoil her reputation.
According to Passaris Sonko had coincidentally called her when she was at the Intercontinental Hotel, attending an induction seminar.
Sonko had on JKLive accused Passaris of making sexual advances to him and inviting him at the Intercontinental Hotel.
Passaris has refuted the claims and has directed the intercontinental Hotel Management to release her private information on when she checked in the hotel and with who and days she spent at the premises.
‘‘Let the hotel release my personal detail ,I last checked in at intercontinental when we had an induction exercise and we were all booked in by the parliament , this is the time governor called me and i told her that am intercon nothing more, but try to confuse people and mistaking issues that i will not allow..am a mother with young adults and hes must respect that,’’ Passaris narrated.
Passaris has further stated that she will sue Sonko for maligning her name and accusing her of defrauding the county by demanding for per diems that have already been paid for by the National Assembly.
‘‘Have instructed my lawyers from here i will visit the office directorate of criminal investigations, Eacc and gender commissionss’ office to complain officially, am telling you this time round i will note let it go, we have constitution and i will use single bit of it to esnure women in this country are liberated and respected.’’ She stated.
The two leaders had before the JKL Show clashed at Madaraka Day a move that saw the women representative even walking out of the governor before the function could end.
Passaris had questioned Sonko source of funds he dished out to Nairobians and even accused him of sabotaging her projects.
