Bongo singing sensation and Wasafi signee Mbosso has opened up on why he cried while being unveiled as Wasafi artist in January 2018.
Mbosso a former member of the now defunct Yamoto Boyz Band was a worried man after the group’s fallout.
He says it took him a long time to get a new recording label as his other former band mates Aslay and Enock Bella seemed to have picked up and were already doing well as solo artists.
He remembered writing songs for other artists which turned out to be hits.
Mbosso says that he was also needed to to keep his silence on the projects for he had been paid for the work.
According to Mbosso, he then turned to playing football and it was then that Rich-Mavoko while still at Wasafi tracked him down for a possible collaboration.
“Rich Mavoko ndiye aliyenichukua nyumbani nilipokuwa nacheza football,” said Mbosso.
“Nililia wakati ule nikikumbuka jinsi awali sikuwa na management, shows pia,” he said.
