Citizen TV News anchor Jacque Maribe has recorded another statement with the police admitting that his fiance Jowie Irungu shot himself in her house in a suicide attempt.
Jacque who recanted the previous statement she had recorded with the police stating that her fiance was shot by thugs on a motorbike outside their Lang’ata home.
In the new statement Jacque is telling the police that her fiance shot himself in his chest following a serious disagreement between them in her house in Lang’ata on the night of September 20.
The new statement by Jacque Maribe could turn her into the prosecution witness and not a suspect.
The TV anchor is still being held at the Police Station as the police finish investigations.
