Willis Raburu Asked To Resign From 10 Over 10

Will Raburu the host of the controversial show 10 Over 10 has been asked to resign.

Citizen Go’s Programmes Director Anne Kioko yesterday asked Raburu to resign in case he is being forced to host the show by his bosses.

Kioko who organized demos outside Rotal Media Offices where Citizen TV sits described 10over10 as pornographic show that should not be aired in the local TV.

“I would rather be in jail fighting for the right thing than remain relevant while doing nasty things like they do on Fridays, @WillisRaburu. You can resign if you are forced into this” tweeted Kioko.

“Be part of the solution to end pornography. Not part of the problem #End10over10 @WillisRaburu @citizentvkenya” she continued.

Both Citizen TV and Willis Raburu have remained unpertubed by the calls and is set to continue with its show as usual.

The station has actually tweeted,

“Catch the charismatic all male band, Kaskazini this Friday on #10over10 from 10pm with the wild@WillisRaburu

Anne Kioko is not the only person to publicly protest against the show, KFCB CEO Ezekiel Mutua also protested the show, raising queries over the show’s content and the kind of dancung.
