Wiper Democratic Movement and Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM) have signed a cooperation agreement with President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee Party.
Led by both Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper) and Isaac Ruto (CCM) the two parties appended their signatures for the deal at the Jubilee Party headquarters in Nairobi.
The deal is a post-election agreement that will see the three parties work together in the run-up to the 2022 General Election.
Kalonzo was accompanied by party officials including Chirau Ali Mwakwere (Chairman), Mutula Kilonzo (Cice-Chair), Chirau Ali Mwakwere and Judith Achieng Sijeny (Secretary General).
Isaac Ruto on the other hand was accompanied by officials of his party led by Secretary General Buzeki Bundotich.
Last month, the Wiper National Executive Council authorised Kalonzo to seal a co-operation agreement with Jubilee.
The resolution was reached during a virtual meeting held by more than 50 members under its leader.
