KCSE candidate spends night in the cold with her mother

A woman in Dandora area four yesterday spent the night in the cold with her four children, one of them being a form four candidate.

Janet Ochieng says that she was kicked out by her landlord for having a one month rent arrears.

Speaking to Ghetto Radio News Ochieng says that her daughter who started her exams today, went to the exam room on an empty stomach and without taking a bath.

Ochieng says that she failed to pay her rent after her employer in Eastleigh moved houses without paying her two month dues.

“I was working in Eastleigh for a waria. She had gone for two months without paying me so when I went back the other day, I was told that she had moved houses, leaving me stranded,” said Ochieng.

Ochieng who also suffers from Athritis says that her four other children aged 12 years and twins aged three years have also stayed without food for two days.

“I have athritis, am on medication. My four children slept with me outside and have gone for days without food,” she stated.

She is appealing to anyone with any form of employment to reach out to her on 0746155096.

“I am kindly appealing to anyone with a job opportunity to please help me,” she said.
