Huruma Nursing Home in Mathare Constituency is now on spot over baby swap saga that hit the hospital on Tuesday.

Lydia Kiluma the victim of the baby swap saga delivered a baby at the hospital on Monday night through caesarean section.

Kiluma says after the operation, she was quickly rushed to a dark room inside the hospital without the knowledge of whereabouts of her child.

“I was still unconsious when they took me to the dark room, my sister who had gone to get pampers was then given a dead child in a box. She however insisted that was not my child because she had only stepped out to buy diapers,” said Kiluma.

In an exclusive interview with Ghetto Radio News Lydias’ sister Sharon Kiluma says it all started when she was sent a pamper  by a doctor after a successful delivery  through cesarean section  and when she returned Sharon was ordered by doctor to wait.

And it was this time that another dead  baby was produced to her wrapped in a ‘leso’ inside a box.

This shocked Sharon and prompted her to scream louder and within a second the nurse produced the real baby who was alive and kicking.

Meanwhile Huruma Nursing Home has defended itself saying there was a mixup  in a room where  the newborns were being monitored.

The act has received massive condemnation from the social media with some asking the police to swiftly swing into action.
