Motorists plying the Thika Super Highway and Uhuru Highway have been advised to avoid the roads to pave way for the flag off of the World Rally Championship (WRC) tomorrow.

The flag off will take place at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre from 8 am to 12pm.

Nairobi Area Traffic Commander Joshua Omukata, the ceremonial flag off will however start at KICC at 12.45 pm.

According to Omukata the vehicles will then pass through Parliament Road, Haile Selassie Avenue, Uhuru Highway, Wangari Mathai Road and then head to Kasarani via Thika Road.

The Safari Rally vehicles will then head back to Thika Super Highway and pass through before heading to Naivasha through Muthaiga.

Omukata says that the flag off will cause disruptions on the roads, noting that no roads will be closed.
