Xtian Dela Spends hours at DCI offices over Club covid

Vlogger Aurther Mandela popularly known as Xtian Dela spent the better part of Thursday at the DCI offices over his popular online show dubbed Club covid.

On Thursday Dela revealed that he had been summoned by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

“Just got summoned by the DCI because of Club Covid. Currently at the DCI HQ.” he wrote on Instagram

Dela had earlier in the week said that he will not be airing Club Covid because of the battles he has been fighting behind closed doors.

“Hey guys, unfortunately I won’t be able to come back today or this week too. A lot is happening behind the scenes. Lots of battles being fought. Will keep you posted. Thanks for the support” he said

In mid-April, Dela had been sued by a group of parents over the content of the show.

Anthony Wahome Kamunyi, Morosi King and Francis Karanja, through Ngungi Mburu advocates took legal action against the vlogger for broadcasting obscene material online.

The blogger was ordered to cease and desist from live streaming #ClubCovid on his Instagram page with immediate effect but he declined.
