Twenty six year Old Boxer Wilson Olembo is looking forward to make his debut at the professional boxing in a fight to be staged at the Sarit Expo Center in Nairobi on July 22.
Olembo will be amongst boxers curtain raising for a rematch between Tanzanian pugilist Karim ‘Mtu Kazi’ Mandonga and former African Boxing Union (ABU) Light Heavy champion Daniel Wanyonyi.
Olembo who said he joined the game to keep fit since he loved the game says that he is ready to face his challenger Suleiman Gitau in the six rounds Super Welter bout.
“This will be my first fight ever and am happy to have gotten the opportunity to feature in a game that am really passionate about and am hoping it will change my life,” he narrated.

Ultra fight promotions in partnership with Sarit are the organizers of the Extravaganza that will feature nine bouts.
The boxer from Ziwani Estate says that he was inspired to turn professional after watching his idol Daniel Wanyonyi who will be trying to overturn his loss against Tanzanian Mandonga.
“I have been training in the same gym with professional boxers and amongst them is Wanyonyi whom I have seen playing and that has been an inspiration to me,” he added.
Under Coach Julius Ojiambo Olembo is stepping up training at the Pal Pal Gym in Pumwani and he has called upon members of the public to turn up to witness some of the best fights in boxing.
