The initiative dubbed football with a purpose also seeks raise cash and other donations to visit inmates in various prisons within Nairobi.

Silas Kwodi the initiative’s Secretary told Ghetto Radio says that it is during these harsh economic times that many youths are dropping out of school getting into drugs and joining crime.

“The initiative will keep our youths busy so that they can keep away from criminal activities and the use of drugs. We have learned that majority of our youths are out of school due to school fees and some are unemployed,” he added.
