A group of youths is lamenting the demolition of their office in Embakasi East Constituency by the Nairobi County Government.
The youths from Embakasi Youth Group say that they received a phone call from area residents that their office was being demolished.
“This place was a dumpsite. We cleaned it up and decided to put up an office for garbage collection run by the youth.
“The governor was aware that this office exists because we are dealing with matters that make their work easier,” said David Oduor, the group’s chairman.

According to the youth, The Nairobi County Government was aware of their work and had been supporting them.
“We have been working hand in hand with them. Whenever there are cases of clogged drainages they will call us and help them do the job,” said the youth.
They are now appealing to the Nairobi County Governor Johnson Sakaja to heed to their cries and come to their rescue.
