José Marcelo Ferreira “Zé Maria” has landed a 2 year deal as the new Gor Mahia coach replacing Coach Frank Nuttal who left the country for Egypt where he will be the assistant for Zamalek FC.
The Brazillian is expected to jet into the country from Italy where he is based,on Thursday ahead of his unveiling that is set to be on Friday.
It is clear that the former Brazillian right back cum Midfielder has a big task of reviving KO’gallo ‘s ship that has been slowly sinking.

“Ze Maria” is a retired footballer who in his career played for 13 teams including Parma, Intermilan among others.
His career started in 1991 at the age of 18 at Portuguesa where he played for the team for 5 years then moved to Flamengo before joining Parma in Italy in the same year.
