WCB Manager Sallam SK has revealed the amount of money Tanzania singer Zuchu charges per show.

During an interview, Sallam says that Zuchu charges Ksh. 2 million for an international performance.

Sallam also says that they negotiate for local shows and reduce the price but they still charge fees for performance.

“Bei yake sahi imebadilika haiko tena ishirini iko dollar elfu ishirini. Local shows tunaweza ongea lakini haiwezi kupungua sana. Unajua nyumbani ni nyumbani that is for international shows kwa hiyo nyumbani always nyumbani kwa sababu huwezi nyima watu wa nyumbani uzuri wake,” he said.

The manager says that Zuchu is going to perform in Zanzibar for the homecoming and he is requesting for sponsors to show up and support them.

According to Sallam, they do marketing for their musicians in order for their demand to grow which results to increase in charges for performance.

“Ako na show yake kubwa yenye itakuwa Zanzibar which we appreciate na demand imekuwa kubwa wadhamani wamejitokeza na tunaomba wadhamini wendine wajitokezee kwa sababu huwezi jua biashara yako itafikia wapi.Demand inapokuwa kubwa lazima bei iongezeke na ndioi maana tunafanyia wasanii marketing ndio demand yake iongezekee,”he added.

He has also revealed that Diamond Platinumz charges from 50,000 dollars to 70,000 dollars for an international show.

Zuchu joined Wasafi label in 2020 and became the second female artist to be signed under the label after Diamond’s sister Queen Darling.

She however says that before her grand introduction, she had been in the label for four year being groomed and trained.

The Sukari hit maker says that getting signed under WCB was her dream come true.

The ‘Nyumba Ndogo’ hit maker has been making it in the music industry and she was even the first musician to get 1 million subscribers in YouTube within one week.
