DCI has arrested five suspects who were showcasing stolen items after their viral video shared on Tik Tok.
After the viral video,DCI did investigation and found out that they are a criminal group based in Sargoi area in Mombasa.
”Following an intelligence led operation,a team of officers based at Central Police Station has arrested five individuals,
”suspected to be members of an organized criminal group that has been operating within Sargoi area and its neighborhoods.” The statement reads.
According to DCI, the five suspects are Vincent Ochieng,Shadrack Ochieng,Felix Otieno,Salim Ali and Shafi Yusuf.
The suspects are part of a criminal gang operating within the Sargoi area in the coastal region.
”The five suspects namely Vincent Ochieng’,Shadrack Ochieng,Felix Otieno,Salim Yusuf had earlier been captured in a video recording while displaying items that they had stolen from their victims,”The statement continued.

Items stolen by the suspects
Police say the quintet were nabbed after an intelligence led operation based on a navy blue clothing captured on the video.
”Upon search,a navy blue jacket that had been captured in the video recording three iphones,a samsung phone,”
”A memojo phone ,a blue tooth headphone among other items were recovered from them.”
Upon their arrest, authorities recovered three iPhones, a Samsung phone, a Memojo phone, and a Bluetooth headphone among other items.
Through their tik tok account,the five suspects were seen showing the public the stolen items calling their owners to send them messages.
