Former Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya has been arrested in relation to Wednesday’s anti-government demonstrations.

Oparanya was reportedly arrested in Kakamega and transported to Kisumu by DCI officers who have been trailing him.

Oparanya’s arrest has also been announced by former Devolution cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa.

Raila however stated that they are unbowed with their quest for justice and will continue with the demonstrations.

Mto Nile utafika bahari ya kati wapende wasipende,” said Raila.
