A number of non-profitable organisations are now calling on President William Ruto to sober up and stop mishandling former leaders and accord them the respect they deserve.

This follows the teargassing of Former Chief Justice Willy Mutunga at Central Police Station on Saturday.

Chama cha Maendeleo ya Wanaume Vihiga Chapter Bahati Msoma in an interview with Ghetto Radio said that the teargassing of Mutunga at the police station when he went to release fellow activists arrested during maandamano was uncalled for.

“I would like to call on the government to treat former leaders with respect. On Saturday former chief justice Willy Mutunga a man who has a track record was teargassed at a police station how dare are the police?  The immediate former president’s property being attacked by the current government,” said Musoma.

Musoma further asked the chairman to look for favourable ways of raising money and not imposing taxes on Kenyans.
