Kayole Sports Club fraternity is asking for support from the Government saying that they are struggling to play the sport.

Amongst the issues raised by the team access to the training facility and equipment is hindering their growth.

Speaking to Ghetto Radio Sports their Coach Valdes Ochieng said that gaining access to the social hall has been a problem because most of the time they find it occupied by other organization who pays the County Government.

“Boxing is an indoor game and currently we are training outside a situation that should not arise as the Church has paid the County hence we are forced to train outside,” he lamented.

Valdes Called on Sports CS Ababu Nwamwamba and the County Government to intervene saying that he has tried to ask for support saying that the youth are the ones who are going at a loss.

“We’ve spoken to all the relevant authorities on our plight but no one seems to care, they see the team being represented out there but they don’t know what happens behind the scenes,” he complained.

Flanked by Tong-iL-Modo-do Coach Master George Mobanda in Embakasi Central said that the perception that Kayole is a criminal den is misplaced saying that the hall has produced the best athletes in the Country.

“I am inviting the Sports Cs to come visit Kayole as this project has nurtured the best sports men in the country. Most of our parents are not well off and affording school fees is a problem so we are complementing the Government CBC project,’ he said.
