The microphone thrown by Cardi B at a fan during her recent performance in Las Vegas has been auctioned for $120,472.33 an equivalent of 17 Million Ksh.
The Shure Axient digital microphone was used as a weapon by Cardi B in retaliation for being splashed with water on her face.
Ironically, it was Cardi B who had earlier asked to be showered with water.
However, according to the jealousy rapper, splashing water on her face was quite provocative.
“I don’t wanna look that ghetto bi*** I said splash on my pu*** not on my face bi***”scoffs Cardi B
Auction Process
The auction process kicked off with the lowest bid on the ebay listing being $500.
Soon several bids were made as bidders flexed each hoping to carry the day,it soon rose to as much as $90,600 to the winning bid of $120,472.33.
According to owner of the audio production company known as The Wave In Sin City, Scott Fisher who offered sound services at the Las Vegas show revealed that the microphone originally cost $1,000.
Scott was also the brains behind the microphone auction as he devised a quick method to make money and distribute to a few charitable organizations he had worked with.
Battery Charges
Cardi B is currently facing battery charges over the ‘flying microphone’ incident.
It is said that despite aiming for the person who had splashed her face with water, The Bodak Yellow rapper missed her target hitting an innocent fan.
A few days ago, Canadian rapper Drake bought a gold ring encrusted with rubies and diamonds for $1.01 Million at an auction, The ring was designed and worn by the legendary fallen Us rapper, Tupac Shakur.
