Murang’a Seal which is a private football enterprise based in Kiharu Constituency, has awakened the soccer spirit from the Mt Kenya region.
The region has had a few top clubs unsuccessfully compete in the Kenya Premier League (KPL), with Thika’s Bidco United representing the region for the last three years.
Seal, founded in 2016, earned promotion to the country’s top tier after placing second in the preceding National Super League season with 69 points .
Clubs Current Position
Murang’a Seal continued with their impressive run in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League after edging Tusker 2-1 at the St. Sebastian Park on Sunday.
The win over Tusker took them to the third place on the log with a tally similar to that of record champions Gor Mahia .
