Comedian and singer Oga Obinna has revealed that Dem Wa Facebook’s homecoming will go down as planned amid threats by Kitale artists who vowed to disrupt it if they’re not included.
Dem Wa Facebook’s homecoming is slated for this Saturday September 7th at the West Side Hotel.
Through a video shared on his Instagram, Obinna disclosed that he had come across posters affirming that he got sponsored by the area’s County Government.
According to the funnyman, this is not true.
However, Obinna clarified that the money he had received in support of the event came from youthful parliamentarian Caleb Amisi.
The Mp coughed 100k which has been used to purchase tickets for a number of constituents.

Obinna further noted that the sum was earlier given as 200k but he only got a 100k cheque.
Additionally, the Mp also gave out a car fitted with a public address systems for promotional services.
On how the tickets will be given, he noted that they’ll make several stops within the constituency for distribution purposes.

The Cake Is Too Big For Everyone
While calling out the artists who threatened to disrupt the event, he noted that the cake was too big for everyone.
He further opined that Dem Wa Facebook’s success is supposed to act as an inspiration to other talents still waiting for their big breaks.
Obinna went ahead and revealed that there are already a number of artists from Kitale who’ll perform at the event.
While summing up, he affirmed that it was now all systems go with flight tickets already secured.

Among the artists set to grace the event are Eric Omondi, Juacali, Mtumishi, Mshamba and Vaida Harry Richie among others.
