Veteran reggae MC Mary Njambi Koikai popularly known as Fayah Mama Jahmby is in urgent need of blood, O Positive. She’s currently admitted at the Nairobi Hospital, Pioneer Ward.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Njambi made the appeal noting that she was in dire need of the blood group, O positive.

“Hi fam, I’m currently admitted at the Pioneer Ward Nairobi Hospital and I kindly require Blood O positive. Kindly asking for blood for donors for Mary Njambi Koikai” read her post.

Endometriosis Battle

Njambi spent two years in the United States where she was being treated for endometriosis.

She flew back to Kenya in January 2020 looking foward to her new life. She has been a freelance reggea MC who used to perform all over the country.

However, she has undergone 10 surgeries and lost so much weight to a point she weighed only 38kg. Her bank account was drained, she lost her job just as she was about to reach the 10-year milestone she also lost her beloved grandmother.

Njambi Koikai has gone through tough times in the last two years.They say when it rains, it pours.

Ghetto Radio’s Goteana Show Host,  DJ Double Trouble had a live phone call conversation with Njambi on the drive show.

Despite her frail voice, she oozed so much confidence, the kind of affirmation that this too shall pass.
