Kibra bred rapper Stevo Simple Boy has announced his bid for the Member Of County Assembly (MCA) seat in Kibra in the coming General Elections in 2027.

Through a recent online interview, Stevo made the announcement revealing that he’s soon bound to join politics.\

Rising Youth Unemployment & Bursary Disbursement

The Mihadarati hitmaker pointed out that he’s set to streamline the rising youth unemployment and bursary disbursement.

Additionally, Stevo asserted that he will be running for the MCA seat before vying for the Mp seat.

“Pia mimi ni kiongozi mtarajiwa miaka ishirini na saba…Kibra, tunaenda na kiti ndogo kwanza, tukipanda juu, hiyo ni MCA, unapata pale vijanaa hawana kazi, bursary yenye wanasemanga hatupati” he stated partly.

Subsequently, Stevo faulted elected leaders who are embezzling public coffers while reminding them that their sole mandate is to work for their electorates.

Fondly, referred to as Mzee Wa Matulinga, he went further and echoed Mumias East Mp, Peter Salasya for being among the politicians who has the interests of his constituents closer to his heart.

Furthermore, Stevo brushed aside the sayings that politics is a dirty game while affirming that the electorates need to choose wisely.
