Harambee Starlets, the Kenya Women’s Senior National Team, is set to face Botswana in their first leg match of the final round of the 2024 Women Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers.

The match has been slated for Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at the Nyayo National Stadium, starting at 3 pm.

Arrival Dates

The Botswana Contingent arrived in Nairobi on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at 10:30 pm.

Harambee Starlets head coach Beldine Odemba had earlier said that she wants the girls to capitalise on home advantage in the first leg of their last round of 2024 Women African Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifier against Botswana.

The team entered day four of their training on this past Friday as more players plying their trade outside the country joined the rest in the camp.

Having eliminated West African giants Cameroon in the last round, Odemba feels the team is ready to build up on the important win when they take on Botswana.

Starlets will play Botswana in the first leg before flying out to Gaborone in the return match slated for December 5.

Match Information and Ticketing

FKF has waived gate charges for the match in a bid to rally support towards the Harambee Starlets second ever Women Africa Cup of Nations appearance.

Gates will be open to the public at 10 am.

All FKF affiliated clubs, schools, and youth academies are also invited to the match, and shall enjoy a designated sitting area.
