Mukuru Community Centre Primary School pupils is battling for his life at Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital after he was knocked by trailer along Catherine Ndereba road,while two others sustained minor injuries.
Other two who in his company also sustained minor dislocation on the ankle and were rushed for treatment.
In the 5.12 pm accident, a bus belonging Somo transporters was making a turn before it ramped on learner who was walking along the pedestrians’ lane.
The bus driver is currently is currently detained at Villa Police Post as the police continue to probe the probable cause.
“It was sad to see young pupils with big dreams perish in the accident and as County Government of Murang’a, we send our condolences to the parents and relatives of the deceased,” lamented a resident.
A team of Boda boda riders who witnessed signaled the driver and helped in rescuing the pupil and rushed him to the hospital.
