Canadian rapper and songwriter, Drake has requested US rapper cum record producer Jermaine Lamarr Cole popularly known as J Cole for a collaboration.
Drake made the bold move while on stage in Montreal, Canada where he was staging a performance with fellow rapper 21 Savage on their tour dubbed ‘It’s all a blur.’

How it happened
It came as a big surprise, as the God’s plan rapper introduced J.Cole for a surprise performance with the crowd going wild with the revelation.
According to Drake, J.Cole was his great friend and support system who accepted the invite out of love music and his fans in Canada.
“It takes somebody that really not only loves the art of this shit but really loves all of you to get on a plane, come here for two nights and represent for Montreal.So make some mother******g noise for my brother all the way from the Ville,he goes by the name of Jermaine Cole.I need you to get as loud as you can “

Then came the big question as Drake requested to have a feature on J.Cole’s upcoming album.
“Maybe I could get on the album?” Posed Drake
A seemingly surprised Cole could only reply with the word “Nigga.”
Though not amused by the response, Drake fondly referred to as Drizzy pressed further.
“Can I get on the album? I’ll ask in front of Montreal. J.Cole, can we get on your album?” Continued Drizzy
“Say less goddammit” replied Cole.

Drake and J.Cole share a long history of friendship, the two also debuted at the same period.
They have also collaborated in the past with songs such as In the morning (2011),Jodeci freestyle (2013) and pipe down (2021).
