Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL), through mainstream spirits brand Chrome, has announced their newest partnership with one of the biggest artists representing the Gengetone sound, Fathermoh as it continues with its Street Filosofia campaign.

The campaign is a celebration of urban Kenyan culture and a clarion call to each Kenyan to be proud of the foundation that their unique backgrounds established in making them the people they are today.

The Kenyan hitmaker with tracks including Marafiki and Kaskie Vibaya alongside Ssaru joins a group of A-list artists currently working with the brand including Bensoul and Nviiri the Storyteller.

“I’m excited for this collaboration with a brand that values artistry and giving support to the Kenyan musicians and the culture that drives our art’s subject matter. It is a great fit and I believe this partnership will only help the industry grow further giving young musicians, producers, sound engineers the right spotlight to showcase their talent and progress the industry.” Expressed Fathermoh.

The announcement comes in the wake of the recently concluded TuskerFest month-long party circuit that saw Kenyans entertained by the popular rap trio Wakadinali who toured five cities in the month of April putting on musical spectacles for fans across the county.

The Sherehe Mtaani parties are in line with the Chrome brand’s objective, which is to reinforce its position as the most trendy, vibrant and aspirational mainstream Kenyan spirits brand by building a unique point of differentiation from the rest, as well as staying at the forefront when it comes to channelling the newest, freshest trends in Kenya’s dynamic urban culture.
