Nyashinski has promised to teach Tecno Kenya a lesson and becoming the last artist they’ll ever joke with as far as endorsements are concerned. Through a post on Instagram story, Nyashinski revealed that Tecno had caused him anguish and it was their time to feel the pain.
“Your time is up. You have caused me enough distress. I want to make sure I’m the last person you will EVER mess with. Itakuwa funzo” fired Nyashinski.
Nyashinski is currently embroiled in a legal battle with Tecno Kenya.
The Mungu Pekee singer is also having a legal battle with his producer, Sam Eli over copyright infringement.
The Nigerian music producer argued that Nyashinski elbowed him out of his share in his endorsement deal with Tecno Kenya.
The song in contention is ‘Wach Wach’ which he produced for Nyashinski.
In May, 2023 Nyashinski signed a multi-million endorsement deal with Tecno Kenya for the promotion of their gadget, Techno Camon 20.
What started smoothly has since turned to court battles with fists clenched.
According to Nyashinski’s producer, Sam Eli he was entitled to 50 per cent of the endorsement deal.
However, Nyashinski turned down Eli’s plea affirming that he owned 100 per cent of the master rights.
The court has since ordered Nyashinski to produce copies of his deal with Tecno including royalty earnings.
Nyashinski has also asserted that his endorsement with Techno Kenya wasn’t a publishing contract as being argued by Sam Eli.
Nyashinski further noted that it covered image rights, interview appearances, photo/video shoots, travel and social media interactions.
US Tour
Nyashinski is currently gearing up for his Us tour, Madaraka Festival.
His social media networks is littered with promotional posts of his upcoming tour which will see him visit several US states.
He has since promised his US fans a show of a lifetime.
