Azimio leader Raila Odinga today morning boarded a matatu on his way to work.
Raila was in the company of former Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya and other aides.
His matatu ride was broadcast live on his various social media pages.
“Embracing the experience and camaraderie of public transport,” he captured the live video.
In the matatu Raila could be seen in a cheerful mood conversing with other commuters.
Commutters in the matatu took the opportunity to tell Raila their plights with regards to the high cost of living.
” Baba tunaumia kutoka hapa Hadi town ni 150 na bei ya unga iko juu. Unga ni 250 baba na mshahara haupandi baba wacha wanasema nin180 they are just lying around ni 250,” they lamented.
The former premier alighted at Nairobi Central Business District CBD were he addressed the public saying that he will not relent and they are going to collect 15milion signatures to prove that Kenyans have no faith with this government.
“First of all allow me to thank all Kenyans who showed up on Friday during Saba Saba we had a good time I passed by here but laster I was attacked by a police officer whom we know where he comes from. I want to tell him that will not relent. And we are collecting 15 milion signatures to show that Kenyans have no faith with Ruto’s government,” said Raila.
