Legendary music producer and entrepreneur, Ted Josiah recently affirmed that the classical hit, Unbwogable by pioneer urban Luo boy band Gidigidi, Majimaji was revolutionary in nature.

Speaking during an online engagement, the veteran producer maintained that the country was experiencing some form of mediocrity which was becoming a norm.

This echoes Majimaji’s sentiments during a previous media interview where he stated that the country was facing some kind of lucklusture, a stagnation that needed to be dealt with.

The people were equally fed up and needed to be fired up in some way.

And ‘Unbwogable’ came in handy

Ted went further and pointed out at the opening verse sang by Majimaji which was filled by aggressiveness.

“Who the hell do you think you are,can a young Luo make money anymore?” Quipped Ted.

Ted further added that the song was written and produced in a record of half an hour.

“It was a stroke of luck we spent half an hour,” added Ted partly.

According to Ted, Unbwogable’s success led him to inking major deals in the political realm.

“All the political doors flung open,” exclaimed Ted.

Wants to be remembered for his contribution in creating the classical hit that rules the airwaves to date.

Indeed, Unbwogable left an indelible mark in Kenya’s political history when it was used by the then opposition Rainbow Coalition as it’s anthem.

It saw the formation of Narc Government which toppled Moi’s 24 year old reign.

Though sang in Dholuo, the song was Kenya’s unifying factor and broke tribal boundaries by being embraced with all and sundry.

Today, Ted runs a successful business venture, Joka Jok which deals in hand knit leather bags and accessories.

On the other hand, Gidigidi and Majimaji have fledgling careers in the media industry. The Ting Badi Malo hit makers recently hinted at a possible reunion.
