Legendary dancehall gods, Bounty Killer and Beenie Man have earned recognition on Montego Bay’s ‘Wall Of Fame’ with their portraits plastered a wall in the capital of the parish of St. James in Jamaica. This is for their exceptional contribution for the growth of dancehall and reggae music.

Taking to his Instagram, Bounty Killer posted a photo capturing their images emblazoned on a wall in a street in Montego Bay.

Fondly referred to as the General, Bounty captioned the photo affirming their kingly status.

“Dancehall Kings, The Wall of Fame Montego Bay Ja.

King Of Dancehall x King Of Kingston

@kingbeenieman x @unogeneral” he wrote.

The artist behind the work also did quite a commendable job, he had a clear-cut precision.

Bounty Killer had his signature cornrows with sunglasses drawn a little-bit revealing his eyes, completing the look were his bearded face.

On the other hand, Beenie Man had his unique pose with an index finger placed on his lips.

Rivalry

The dancehall icons rose to fame from their clash ‘Sting’ in 1993 which remains as one of the greatest clashes in dancehall history.

Bounty Killer was opining that Beenie Man was coping his style.

However, Beanie Man maintained that he was his equally different from Bounty. The moment saw diss songs traded with war mongering taking centerstage.

The beef would later escalate in 2006 when Beapenie Man married Bounty’s former girlfriend, Michelle ‘D’ Angel Downer, after she parted ways with Bounty.

In an interview in 2020, Bounty confessed to being irked by Beanie’s move.
