The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions has concurred with decision of the Director of Criminal Investigations in finding that Mugithi star Lawrence Njuguna alias DJ Fatxo was not involved in murder of his friend Jeff Mwathi.
Njuguna’s lawyer Duncan Okatch told journalists at Milimani Law Court that thorough investigations were conducted by the officers from DCI and files forwarded to the office of ODPP which has given the final decision.
“Throughout the period of investigations, Jeff was like an open book, he has cooperated well with the detectives, he surrendered all that the detectives required and availed himself whenever he was called,” Lawyer Okatch said.
