Embattled Hip hop mogul Sean Combs popularly known as Diddy has finally spoken after his video assaulting former girlfriend, Cassie in 2016 surfaced on the internet. Diddy regretted his past actions while promising to be a better person.

In a video posted on his Instagram, Diddy termed his woes a reflection of his darkest moments which he had to face.

He revealed hitting rock-bottom with his character being not of a sane person.

“It’s so difficult to reflect on the difficult times on your life but sometimes you got to do that. I was f***d up, I hit rock-bottom but I make no excuses my behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video” he asserted.

Rehab Stint

The Bad Boy president further disclosed that following his ‘berserk moment’ he sought help by going for therapy and a rehab stint.

Diddy also revealed turning to his maker for in search of grace and mercy.

“I was disgusted then when I did it and I’m disgusted now. I went and I sought out professional help and started going to therapy and rehab, had to ask God for his mercy and grace.

Diddy’s video assaulting his then girlfriend, Cassie was aired by International media network, CNN. The incident took place in March 2016 at Continental Hotel in Los Angeles.

Cassie who had previously sued Diddy allegedly received $50,000 from him in an out of court agreement.

The footage went viral at a time the Los Angeles County District Attorney affirmed that Diddy cannot be prosecuted since it has gone beyond prosecution timeline.

Diddy’s biggest rival, 50 Cent has since termed Diddy’s apology suicidal.

” This is not going to work, who is advising him right now? SMH bad move” he wrote.
