Residents of Lindi area in Kibera sub-county have launched a man haunt for a woman who delivered a baby and then dumped the baby in a garbage site along Lindi by pass.
Speaking to Ghetto Radio this evening the residents condemned the incident that happened at around 6pm in the evening.
“I want to condemn this action that was taken with my fellow woman who decided to killed her own child but not raising the child,” said Rehema Omari.
“This is not good at all that is why we are going to move to each and every door to search for any woman who was pregnant on every plot to see if she is still pregnant and if not and she has delivered and there is no baby will be answerable,” said Mrs Omari.

School going girls suspected
Omari says that they are suspecting that the child was thrown away by a school going child who are allegedly notorious of the act.
“We are suspecting the school going children since majority usually prefer killing children immediately after birth or aborting,” she stated.
Omari is also blaming parents of failing to advise their children in matters pregnancy.
“” Parents are the one who usually advice their daughter to throw their babies at birth. Sometimes we may be blaming the girl who did this but she was poorly advised by her mother. Some women fear becoming grandmothers here in Lindi,” she added.
Cases of children abduction in Kibera slums have become rampant. Majority of women abduct infants along rivers, railway lines and compost pits.
