KRG the Don is a Kenyan dancehall star who has made it in the music industry. On the other side, Alvindo, the Takataka hit maker is known most especially for the takataka song.

Dancehall star KRG the don has recently opened up about his strained relationship with Taka Taka hitmaker, Alvindo.

In an interview on Mseto East Africa, the musician divulged that the Takataka hit maker became estranged to the extent of trying to stab him.

“Alinichangia nilimtolea ile ngoma takatka akaona yeye nio star knishinda mimi, akanza kubeba na visu anasema atanindunga ati mi nimetengeneza pesa na mziki wake,” KRG stated.

Akaanza kusema ati mtaani kule ametoka hao watu wanamuambia nimetengeneza hela nyingi sana ati hizo magari mi huendesha ni pesa yake oooh, ati nmeingia illuminati, sijui nimeuza song yake vitu mingi tu, Yaani DJ Lyta ni shahidi wangu.

How the Friendship came up

The relationship between KRG AND Alvindo started years back. This was after the song Takataka got banned by the government. KRG stood up for Alvindo questioning the government asking them where they were when the hit maker was broke.

“”Where were you when Alvindo was doing manual jobs at Burma Market? Since you wanna spoil his career do you have an idea of what he should be doing to pay his bills?”

This comes after Kenya Film Classification Board banned the song claiming it should not be performed live or broadcast anywhere within the Republic of Kenya.

In an angry Instagram post, KRG the Don said he would still go ahead and release the redone video for the song, soon.
