Gospel singer and former manager to Kevin Bahati of EMB Records, Lawrence Karanja has finally confirmed his worst fears over the death of his niece who was stabbed to death a fortnight ago at a Kitengela Chicken Inn eatery.
Taking to his Instagram, The Faham singer stated that he was worried after word went out that that a woman working at the joint had met her death in the horrible manner knowing well that he had a kin working at the facility.
“When i saw the breaking news about Chicken Inn Kitengela,nilikuwa worried coz one of my nieces work there… little did i know aty maze ni yeye amefanyiwa unyama hivi 😭😭😭😭😭RIP Gertrude Mutiso🙏🙏” wrote Weezdom

Suspected Love Triangle
According to reliable sources, the two were in a relationship before the sudden turn of events.
It is alleged that the suspect ended the love affair with the victim after learning that she was dating their boss.
This was also confirmed by the suspect who spoke from his hospital bed after getting a dog’s beating from irate members of the public.He said he was unable to stomach their new relationship.
On the fateful day, the suspect was off duty when he stormed the eatery with an ill motive to end the victim’s life.
She found her serving customers before he attacked her leading to her death.
Reports further indicate that this was not the first time the suspect had threatened to end the victim’s life.The woman had reported the matter to her father,a police officer based in Kiambu hours before the unfortunate incident.
In the meantime, police are holding the suspect for 14 more days as they continue to piece the happenings.
