Former Cherang’any MP and 2012 Boston Marathon champion, Wesley Korir has proudly announced that his son has joined the prestigious Borussia Dortmund Football Academy.
Sharing heartwarming photos of his son alongside his teammates at the Borussia Dortmund International Academy on his twitter account, Korir expressed his excitement and pride in his child’s budding athletic journey.

Beyond his remarkable victory in the 2012 Boston Marathon, where he overcame extreme heat to emerge victorious, he later delved into the realm of politics. Serving as the Cherang’any Member of Parliament from 2013 to 2017.
He is married to Canadian runner Tarah McKay.
