Veteran Journalist secretary of Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi ,Kibisu Kabatesi has resigned from his position as the Secretary ,Government Strategic Communications after nine months appointment.
In a letter dated 25th October to the Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary For Foreign and Diaspora Affairs,Kibisu stated his reasons for resigning from the office as Secretary,Government Strategic Communications.
”I would have wished that we continue the great work of stream Government communication to create a conversation between Government its Citizens,save that for personal reasons,I have resign from the position of Secretary,Government Strategic Communications effective 1st November 2023,”
”I do this with a clear conscience and utmost humility that my talents will find utility time in the service of our great country.”He noted.
He also thank President William Ruto for giving him the opportunity to work as secretary ,Government Strategic Communication.
”Through you,I would like to thank H.E. The President for the opportunity accorded to me to the above capacity.I also thank you verily for the time and support accorded to me while serving.”He noted.
He also requested for his payment upon resignation.
”Vide this letter ,may I humbly request for payment of all my accumulated due/arrears since with my resignation.”He concluded.

He is a renowned public intellectual and media practitioner with more than 40 years of experience.
He has experience in media convergence having served as a TV producer, public relations officer, writer, editor, media trainer and publicist
He has also served as Publications Editor at the Institute for Development Studies (IDS), University of Nairobi for twenty eight years,with editorial responsibilities for policy research briefs, teaching material, training papers and manuals and development of strategic research dissemination.
