Renowned sports journalist and commentator Sean Cardovillis has been cremated at the Hindu Crematorium in Kariakor, Nairobi, Capital FM reported on Thursday.
The capital FM sports show host whose death was announced on September 9, 2023, was cremated at a private family event ceremony in line with Hindu customs.
The cause of his death is yet to be disclosed.
Police and the family said the discovery was made by a cleaner who stumbled upon his body on the staircase leading to his apartment on the fourth floor.
According to his family, a memorial service will be held on Friday next week at the Consolata Shrine Catholic Church in Westlands, Nairobi.
Sean had returned to Capital FM after 18 years, He had been living alone along Rhapta Road, Westlands.
